From the BES calendar:
Joyce Reynolds will host another Epigraphic Saturday in Cambridge on May 18. The day will follow a different format to previous ones: as many of you will know, Joyce is currently working on an on-line corpus of the inscriptions of Cyrenaica, and rather than having a main speaker from overseas she would like to present and discuss some of the problem texts from the Greek cities of Cyrenaica. The day will start at 10.30 (with coffee) for 11.00, with Cyrenaican problems before lunch and short papers by others in the first half of the afternoon. The format will be seminar-style round a table; could you please let Michael Crawford know if you would like to come and whether you would like to offer a short paper (imagines.italicae@sas.ac.uk).
