From Stone to Screen: Digital Tools for Epigraphy
A training event aimed at Postgraduate Students and Early Career Researchers.
Monday 30 November to Wednesday 2nd December, Ghent University and KU Leuven (Belgium).
The Call for Participants is now open.
The training program will cover a combination of the following topics: text encoding, epigraphic datasets and databases, AI tools, Linked Open Data for epigraphy, planning the digital component of a digital epigraphy project.
The event is free of charge (although if interest exceeds capacity the number of participants will be capped). Thanks to generous funding from DARIAH, there are 5 bursaries available to cover travel and accommodation for PhD students and ECR candidates who come from abroad and cannot receive any reimbursement from their institution (or do not currently have an institution, e.g. they have recently defended their PhD or they are in between positions).

The deadline for applications is Thursday 15/10. Participants will be notified of the outcome of the selection on the week c. 19th October.
